Thermoelectric, not ice
A powered cold plate holds the chamber at fridge temperature — no gel packs to pre-freeze, no melt, no guessing. It reaches 8°C in about 30 minutes.

Will my injection pen fit?
The chamber is 17.8 × 5.0 cm. Typical capacity is 5 slim pens (KwikPen-style), 3 bulky autoinjectors, 2 wide-body single-dose pens nose to tail, or 5 vials. If you’re unsure, measure your pen against those dimensions — and your leaflet is the final word on how it should be stored.
Can I take it on a plane?
Yes — it’s designed carry-on friendly. Each Power Cell is 37.7 Wh, under the 100 Wh airline limit for lithium batteries. Pack Power Cells in the cabin, not checked luggage.
How long does it stay cold without power?
7–9 hours per Power Cell. The Long-Haul Kit carries two cells for 14–18 hours. The Essential kit is plug-in only and ships without a cell.
Can it freeze my pens?
The chamber adjusts between 0 and 18°C and holds medication at 2–8°C — it is a cooler, not a freezer. Frozen insulin or GLP-1 medication is permanently damaged and must not be used, whatever the cause. If a pen has been frozen, don’t inject it — ask your pharmacist.
Is it a replacement for my fridge at home?
No. The Cooler Pro is built for the hours between fridges — flights, road trips, dose days out. For a bedside or desk-side option, see the Svalto Home Base. Your medication’s leaflet is the final word on storage windows.
Is it HSA/FSA eligible?
Many customers reimburse it through HSA/FSA; eligibility depends on your plan. An itemized receipt is included with every order — check with your plan administrator.
