“Took the Svalto on a 14-hour flight to Manila and the screen still read 5°C when I landed. Holds temp perfectly even when it’s hot out.”
Edward B. Verified buyerOne warm afternoon can spoil a month of doses — and a month of GLP-1 pens can run $1,000 or more to replace, many times the price of the Cooler that protects them. Many buyers pay nothing out of pocket via HSA/FSA; an itemized receipt is included with every order.

The battery is the breakthrough
Each Power Cell adds 7–9 hrs of cordless cooling. Your kit ships with 1–2; stack extra spare Power Cells ($49 each) for long-haul flights or fully off-grid days.
Runtime per cell is typical after the first few charge cycles and varies with ambient heat and lid opening. Plugged into any Type-C source, Cooler Pro holds your set temperature indefinitely; spare Power Cells recharge separately on the included cable in 6–7 hours.
The cold chain, finally cordless.
Svalto Cooler Pro is active 2–8°C refrigeration that runs on swappable batteries. It keeps Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro, insulin and other refrigerated pens at your set temperature — 2-8°C, shown live on the display — through flights, road trips and long days, no outlet in sight.

Click in a cell
A charged Power Cell clicks into the base — or plug into any Type-C source. Spare cells charge separately on their own cable.
Set & lock
Hold the power icon to switch on, tap + / − to set 2-8°C (it ships at 8°C), then double-tap the power icon to lock the screen so nothing changes in your bag.

Car, plane or train. The live display shows the exact temperature the whole way — swap cells in seconds when one runs down.
Never run out of cold.
Every swappable Power Cell adds 7–9 hours of cordless cooling. Keep a charged spare in your bag — click it in the moment one runs down, and your medication never warms up. Two cells clear a long-haul flight; a handful covers a week fully off‑grid.
- 10,200 mAh · 37.7 Wh — sized for airline carry‑on

Good to know.
What is the Svalto Cooler Pro?
Cooler Pro is a battery-powered travel refrigerator for medication. It actively holds your set temperature — 2-8°C, the safe storage range for insulin, GLP-1 pens and other refrigerated medication — and shows the live temperature on a touch display. Swappable 10,200 mAh Power Cells run it cordless for 7-9 hours each.
How is this different from the original Svalto Cooler?
The big change is power: Cooler Pro takes swappable batteries, so it refrigerates in your bag with nothing plugged in. It's also lighter (900 g), machined from aviation-grade aluminum, and adds a lockable touch screen. The original runs on USB power only.
How long does the battery last?
Each Power Cell runs the cooler for 7-9 hours (typical after the first few charge cycles). The Travel Kit includes one cell; the Long-Haul Kit includes two, which swap out in under a minute for 14-18 hours door to door. Plugged into Type-C — wall, car, laptop or power bank — it runs indefinitely with the Power Cell removed. Each cell recharges separately on its own included cable in about 6-7 hours, so you can top up a spare while another keeps the cooler cold.
How do I charge a Power Cell?
Each Power Cell charges outside the cooler using the separate charging cable in the box — plug the cell into any USB wall adapter, laptop or power bank. A red light means it's charging; green means it's full. A full charge takes about 6-7 hours, and because the cell charges on its own you can recharge a spare while another one runs in the cooler.
Does the display show the battery level?
The touch display shows the live temperature inside the cooler in °C, with a small battery gauge beside it showing roughly how much charge is left in the Power Cell — a bar-style indicator rather than an exact percentage.
Can I run it plugged in instead of on battery?
Yes. To run on power, remove the Power Cell from the base, refit the cap and connect the Type-C cable to the port on the body — wall, car, laptop or power bank all work, and it runs indefinitely. The body's Type-C powers the cooler itself; the Power Cell always charges separately on its own cable.
Can I take it on a plane?
Yes. Each Power Cell is 37.7 Wh — well inside the 100 Wh airline carry-on limit — and the cooler itself is carry-on friendly. Keep it and the cells in your cabin bag, never checked luggage, as airlines require lithium batteries in the cabin.
Can I use it in freezing weather?
Use it in environments above 0°C (32°F). The cooler is built to keep medication cool in warm and room-temperature conditions; it is not a heater, so in sub-zero surroundings the interior can drop toward the outside temperature. Because insulin must never be frozen — freezing permanently damages it and it should not be used afterward — don’t store or transport it in below-freezing conditions.
Will it fit my Ozempic or Mounjaro pen?
Yes — though the count depends on the device. Slim pens (Ozempic, Wegovy, Trulicity, the Mounjaro KwikPen, insulin) fit up to 5, and the longest sit at a gentle diagonal. The wide‑based Mounjaro and Zepbound single‑dose pens fit about 2, loaded nose to tail. The same medicines supplied as single‑dose vials are far smaller and 5 fit comfortably. Check the medication finder above for your exact device.
What about biologic auto-injectors like Tremfya or Skyrizi?
They fit and stay at 2-8°C, but wide-body single-dose injectors (Tremfya, Skyrizi, Cosentyx, Taltz and similar) are bulkier than a slim pen, so roughly 2 stand in the chamber at once — other biologic pens, about 3. Use the medication finder above to see the realistic count for your exact injector before you order. If you need to carry more than that, reach out and we'll help you find the right setup.
Can I use an ice pack with it too?
You don’t need to — Cooler Pro actively holds 2-8°C on its own, no ice required. But many customers keep a frozen Svalto Cold Pack on hand as backup — for battery-swap gaps, airport security lines or ultra-long journeys. It lays flat down one side of the chamber, or tucks into the travel bag’s outer pocket so your full pen capacity stays free inside.
What does the screen lock do?
A double-tap of the power key locks the touch panel so the temperature can't be nudged while the cooler is in a bag or a cupholder. Double-tap again to unlock. The display keeps showing the live temperature while locked.
Which colour should I pick?
Onyx Black is the signature look; Titanium is the same aluminum body in a brushed silver-grey. Same spec, same price — purely personal taste.
Is Svalto HSA/FSA eligible?
Many customers reimburse Svalto through their HSA or FSA, since it stores prescription medication. Pay as usual, then submit the itemized receipt (emailed with every order) to your plan administrator. Approval depends on your plan, and a Letter of Medical Necessity from your prescriber helps.
Is this a medical device?
It's a temperature-controlled travel cooler designed to keep refrigerated medication within its recommended range. Always follow your medication's storage guidance.
How does ambient temperature affect cooling performance?
Cooling depends on the temperature around the unit, not the country. The set temperature is a target: when plugged in, Cooler Pro typically cools about 15–20°C below ambient; with a Power Cell, about 15°C below ambient. At 30°C ambient, expect roughly 10–15°C plugged in or around 15°C on battery, so it may not maintain 2–8°C or a 4°C setting. Use it in a cool, shaded or air-conditioned environment, never in a hot parked vehicle or direct sunlight, monitor the live display, and always follow your medication manufacturer's storage instructions.
