How many needle tips does it hold?
Over 1,000 — that is the manufacturer's rated capacity. Only the needle goes inside, not the plastic hub, which is why so many fit in something this small. In practice: about six months at four injections a day, roughly a year at two a day, about two years at one a day, and 10+ years on a weekly GLP-1 routine. Those figures already assume you retire it at about three-quarters full.
What happens to the plastic part?
It stays on your pen and comes off blunt — the sharp is already sealed inside the Sharps Guard. A needle-free hub can normally go in your household bin, but local rules vary, so check what your area asks for.
Which needles fit?
