Five slim pens, nose to tail.

An Ozempic® pen is a slim multidose pen — the shape the 17.8 × 5.0 cm chamber was built around. Capacity depends on the shape of your device, so we quote it by geometry and label it typical.

Carrying a month of doses plus a spare? Five slim pens is the ceiling — measure yours against 17.8 × 5.0 cm. Your leaflet is the final word on how your medication should be stored.

Thermoelectric, not ice

A powered cold plate holds the chamber at fridge temperature — no gel packs to pre-freeze, no melt, no guessing. It reaches 8°C in about 30 minutes.

The claim is 2–8°C

The chamber adjusts anywhere from 0–18°C; refrigerated pens ride at the 2–8°C setting. The live display shows the chamber temperature the whole trip.

Locked against pockets

Double-tap the power button and the touch panel locks; double-tap again to unlock. A bag can't change your settings.

Metal where it matters

Aviation-grade aluminium body, 27.5 cm long, 900 g — lighter than a filled water bottle.

Built around a boarding pass.

Cordless runtime comes from swappable Power Cells that charge on their own cable, outside the cooler. Every number below is the honest one.

7–9 hrsper Power Cell, cordless
14–18 hrson two cells (Long-Haul Kit)
37.7 Whper cell — under the 100 Wh airline limit
USB-Cpowers the cooler at seat or desk

Carry-on friendly; pack spare cells in the cabin, never checked luggage. A cell recharges in 6–7 hours on its own cable — the cooler's USB-C port runs the cooler and doesn't charge a docked cell.

The failure you cannot detect.

A pen that spent an afternoon warm gives no sign. No colour change. No smell. It still clicks — while the medicine inside quietly loses potency. One warm afternoon can spoil a month of doses.

That is why every Svalto surface reports a number. The chamber temperature sits on the display, live, from door to door.

Questions, answered plainly.

How should Ozempic® be stored?

Unopened pens are refrigerated at 2–8°C until their expiry date. Once in use, the label allows a counted window — commonly 56 days below 30°C. That in-use window still has a hot end, which is what a travel case is for. Your leaflet and your pharmacist are the final word.

How many Ozempic® pens fit?

Five, nose to tail. The chamber is 17.8 × 5.0 cm and a slim multidose pen is the shape it was designed around.

Can I take it on a plane?

Yes — it's designed carry-on friendly. Each Power Cell is 37.7 Wh, under the 100 Wh airline limit for lithium batteries. Pack Power Cells in the cabin, not checked luggage.

Do I still need it if my pen is already in use?

Often, yes. An in-use pen is allowed at room temperature for its counted window, but that window has an upper limit — a parked car, a beach bag or a July sidewalk passes it easily. The cooler protects both unopened spares and in-use pens from the hot end.

Can it freeze my pens?

The chamber adjusts between 0 and 18°C and holds medication at 2–8°C — it is a cooler, not a freezer. Frozen insulin or GLP-1 medication is permanently damaged and must not be used, whatever the cause. If a pen has been frozen, don't inject it — ask your pharmacist.

Is it HSA/FSA eligible?

Many customers reimburse it through HSA/FSA; eligibility depends on your plan. An itemized receipt is included with every order — check with your plan administrator.

What if it doesn't work out?

Every order carries a 60-day money-back guarantee and a 1-year warranty.

Your first weeks come with enough to think about. Storage shouldn't be one of them.
