How should Wegovy® be stored?
Unopened pens are refrigerated at 2–8°C. The label allows a counted window out of the fridge — commonly 28 days between 8°C and 30°C. Note the upper limit: that window is not a licence to leave a pen in a hot car. Your leaflet and your pharmacist are the final word.
How many Wegovy® pens fit?
Three, upright. Autoinjectors are bulkier than slim insulin-style pens, so the chamber takes three rather than five.
Can I take it on a plane?
Yes — it's designed carry-on friendly. Each Power Cell is 37.7 Wh, under the 100 Wh airline limit for lithium batteries. Pack Power Cells in the cabin, not checked luggage.
Is a gel-pack pouch enough?
For a short outing, often. A pre-frozen gel pack absorbs heat as it melts, then drifts — and direct contact with a frozen pack carries its own freezing risk. A powered cooler holds a set temperature for the whole trip and reports it, rather than asking you to assume.
Can it freeze my pens?
The chamber adjusts between 0 and 18°C and holds medication at 2–8°C — it is a cooler, not a freezer. Frozen insulin or GLP-1 medication is permanently damaged and must not be used, whatever the cause. If a pen has been frozen, don't inject it — ask your pharmacist.
Is it HSA/FSA eligible?
Many customers reimburse it through HSA/FSA; eligibility depends on your plan. An itemized receipt is included with every order — check with your plan administrator.
