Insulin mini fridge

Your kitchen fridge was designed for groceries.

The Svalto™ Home Base is a dedicated medication fridge the size of a shoebox: a true set-point, a live readout on the lid, and double-layer storage so a month of doses stays organised.

60-day money-back · 1-year warranty · free tracked shipping over $100

A month of doses, laid flat.

Pens lie flat in the lift-out tray; vials and cartridges stand below. Capacity depends on the shape of your device, so we quote it by geometry and label it typical.

Not a replacement for a pharmacy refrigerator, and not a freezer. Your leaflet is the final word on how your medication should be stored.

A true set-point

Dial in your target and variable-frequency cooling holds it, day and night — no thermostat drift between grocery runs and door swings.

Glance-and-know readout

The live internal temperature sits on the lid, readable across the room. No opening the door to check.

Double-layer storage

Pens lie flat in the lift-out tray; vials and cartridges stand below. A month of doses stays organised instead of rattling in a crisper drawer.

Home, car and USB power

It lives on the counter and rides in the car on refill day.

A door swing you never see.

Household fridges are built for food, not for a 2–8°C band. Door shelves warm past 8°C in summer; back corners dip below 2°C and can freeze a pen overnight. No colour change. No smell. It still clicks — and the medicine has already changed.

A dedicated fridge removes the variable entirely: one set-point, one readout, nothing else sharing the space.

Questions, answered plainly.

How is this different from a normal mini fridge?

A drinks fridge cools toward “cold” with a wide swing. The Home Base holds a set-point in the 2–8°C band, shows the internal temperature on the lid, and is laid out for pens rather than cans.

Can it freeze my insulin?

It is a refrigerator with a set-point in the 2–8°C band, not a freezer. Set it and check the readout. Frozen insulin is permanently damaged and must not be used, whatever the cause — if a pen has frozen, don't inject it, ask your pharmacist.

How many pens does it hold?

Typically 12 slim pens, 8 autoinjectors or 6 wide-body injectors, plus vials and cartridges on the lower tier.

Can I take it in the car?

Yes — it runs on home, car and USB power, which covers refill day and the drive home from the pharmacy.

Should I still keep a travel cooler?

If you travel with doses, yes — they solve different problems. The Home Base is the fixed post at home; the Cooler Pro covers the hours between fridges.

What about a power cut?

Keep the door shut and the interior holds for a while, but a long outage is a real risk to a month of doses. The Fridge Guard alarms when a fridge drifts out of range, which is how you find out in time.

What if it doesn't work out?

Every order carries a 60-day money-back guarantee and a 1-year warranty.

One shelf that is only ever about your medication.
